Welcome!
The Organizing Committee would like to welcome you to the thirteenth meeting of the East Coast Section of the International Society of Protistologists. This conference is devoted to research on all aspects of protistology, including ecology, pathology, evolution, cell biology, and more. This conference is an excellent opportunity to meet scientists who are using these fascinating organisms to answer a wide range of biological questions.
The conference will be held June 6-8, at Russell Sage College, in Troy, New York. A number of special sessions are planned, and contributions on other topics are welcome. In addition to speaking sessions, there will be a poster session Wednesday evening.
The East Coast meeting has a long tradition of student participation. Students at all levels (high school, undergraduate, and graduate) are welcome, both as attendees and as presenters.
