AMPK gamma 1 antibody
The AMPK γ1 (gamma 1) antibody is a high-affinity immunological tool specifically targeting the gamma 1 regulatory subunit of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), encoded by the PRKAG1 gene. AMPK is a heterotrimeric kinase complex comprising α (catalytic), β, and γ (regulatory) subunits, where γ1 plays a crucial role in sensing cellular energy status through binding of AMP, ADP, and ATP.
This antibody is developed against a synthetic peptide or recombinant fragment unique to the γ1 isoform, ensuring specificity and minimal cross-reactivity with γ2 (PRKAG2) or γ3 (PRKAG3). It is optimized for Western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry, facilitating studies of AMPK-mediated metabolic regulation, autophagy, and energy stress responses.
